🧊 Al-Wakeel الوكيل 🧊

Ali

Ugh, my math test is tomorrow and I'm going to fail! I don't get any of it! 😫

10:01

I know that feeling, Ali. When you feel worried and helpless, it's the perfect time to learn about one of Allah's most wonderful names: Al-Wakeel!

10:02

Fatima

Al-Wakeel? What does that mean?

10:03

It means He is The Ultimate Trustee! The one who takes care of ALL our affairs in the best way. When you're scared, you can say, 'Allah is my sufficient, He is the best Disposer of Affairs.' It means He's all you need!

Let's imagine a magical ice cream machine to understand it better!

You see a machine on the wall. You put a coin in and press 'strawberry.' That's your effort, like studying. That's the 1% you can see and do.

10:06

But behind the wall is a GIANT factory! With cows for milk, strawberry fields, workers, refrigerators... all the things you can't see or control. That factory is like Al-Wakeel, doing the other 99% of the work!

10:07

Ali

Wow, 99% is a lot! So... if the factory does all the work, do I still have to study?

10:08

Excellent question! Yes, you absolutely have to. The Prophet (pbuh) taught us to 'tie your camel, and rely on Allah.' We have to do our part first. That's real trust (Tawakkul). Just expecting Allah to do it all is laziness (Tawaakul).

10:09

Real Trust (Tawakkul) 👍 = Studying hard AND asking Allah for help. Laziness (Tawaakul) 👎 = Not studying and just expecting to pass.

10:10

Fatima

Oh, I get it! So trusting Al-Wakeel makes you feel better?

10:11

Exactly! You feel brave, not scared. You focus on your small part and let Al-Wakeel handle the big picture. If you succeed, you say 'Alhamdulillah!' 🙏 If you fail, you stay calm, knowing Allah has a better plan. 😌

10:12

Ali

But what if I study and trust Him and I still don't pass? What does that mean?

10:13

Great question. Imagine you send your little sister to the store with all the family's money and say 'buy what you want.' She'll come back with candy and chips!

10:14

But the family needs rice and soap. She bought what she wanted, not what was good for the family. Al-Wakeel always gives us what's BEST for us (the healthy food), even if it's not what we thought we wanted (the candy).

10:15

Fatima

So the result is always good for us, even if we don't understand it?

10:16

Precisely! So, here are your 3 steps: 1. Do Your Best! ✍️ (Tie your camel) 2. Trust the Rest! ❤️ (Let Al-Wakeel handle the 99%) 3. Say the Magic Words! 🤲 When you feel worried, say 'Hasbiyallah' (Allah is sufficient for me).

10:17

Ali

Okay, I'm going to do my best studying now, and I'll trust Al-Wakeel with the rest. I feel much better! Thank you, Ustadha Noor!
