📅 In 5 years

💡 Ideas for content:

✅ What is important to you in life today – values, wishes, people?
✅ What do you dream about when you think of the next 5 years?
✅ Who is part of your closest circle today – and why?
✅ What questions or concerns do you have when thinking about the future?
✅ What currently gives you support, motivation, or confidence?
✅ What development do you wish for in the coming years?
✅ What do you want to tell your future self in 5 years about your current thoughts and feelings?

Time capsule: Add something appropriate

A time capsule preserves memories for the future. You put your letter in an envelope along with small items – e.g. a photo, a list of your favourite songs, a small note with a wish, a ticket or a painted symbol. This capsule remains sealed until you open it again in the future. Then you can see what was important to you in the past, what you dreamed of – and how you have changed. 🌟

You can include something with your letter, such as:

  1. A photo with the people who are particularly important to you today.
  2. A list of your current hobbies, dreams, or role models.
  3. A song lyric, quote, or saying that resonates with you right now.
  4. A small item from your daily life (sticker, button, dried flower).
  5. Your current signature or a mini self-portrait.
  6. A newspaper clipping or printout with a current headline.

Here's how it works...

  1. Put your letter and time capsule contents in an envelope.
  2. Write on the outside: ‘Do not open before... ’
  3. Give it to someone you trust – or keep it yourself in a safe place.
  4. Set yourself a calendar reminder (digital or on paper).
  5. Do not open the envelope until the specified date.
