Zielsetzung:
Die Lernenden sollen ein Verständnis für die Einzigartigkeit von Menschen mit Demenz entwickeln und lernen, wie eine personenzentrierte Beziehungsgestaltung ihre Lebensqualität verbessern kann. Das übergeordnete Ziel ist die Schulung von Empathie und der Fähigkeit, die individuellen Bedürfnisse, Stärken und die Biografie der Betroffenen zu erkennen und in die Pflege zu integrieren.
Inhalte und Methoden:
Das Arbeitsblatt thematisiert die Einzigartigkeit von Menschen mit Demenz, indem es über die reine Diagnose hinaus auf ihre Persönlichkeit, Biografie und Fähigkeiten eingeht. Ein Brainstorming-Auftrag leitet die Auseinandersetzung ein. Ein detailliertes Fallbeispiel dient der Analyse der individuellen Situation eines Patienten / einer Patientin. Anschließend wird die personenzentrierte Theorie von Tom Kitwood vorgestellt, die als Grundlage für die praktische Anwendung dient. Die Lernenden sollen Zugangswege zum inneren Erleben des Patienten / der Patientin erarbeiten und in Gruppenarbeit die Einzigartigkeit von einem MmD herausarbeiten. Methoden umfassen Brainstorming, Fallanalyse, Textverständnis, Einzel- und Gruppenarbeit sowie Reflexion.
