Inhalte und Methoden: Das Arbeitsblatt führt in die Epoche der Aufklärung ein, indem es ein erklärendes Video als primäre Informationsquelle nutzt. Im Anschluss daran überprüfen Multiple-Choice-Fragen das Verständnis der grundlegenden Konzepte wie der Gewaltenteilung und der Rolle der Vernunft. Ein Text über eine:n Vertreter:in der Aufklärung vertieft das Thema. Die Schüler:innen werden dazu angehalten, die Ideen der vorgestellten Person mit den im Video präsentierten Konzepten zu vergleichen. Ein abschließender Merkkasten fasst die Definition der Aufklärung, ihre wichtigsten Vertreter und ihre weitreichenden Auswirkungen auf Politik, Gesellschaft und Kultur zusammen.
