Visiting Paris

I am visiting Paris with my family, and it is so exciting! We arrived yesterday and went straight to our hotel. Our hotel room is nice, and we have a view of the Eiffel Tower! It is so tall and beautiful. We can't wait to visit it.

Today, we went to the Notre Dame Cathedral. It is so old and pretty. The windows have pictures of famous people and stories from the Bible. I liked the rose window the most. It has so many colors and is so big that it almost takes up the whole wall. I bought a little statue of the Virgin Mary as a souvenir.

We also went to the Arc de Triomphe. It is so huge and impressive! It was built to honor the French army. We climbed to the top and had an amazing view of the city. We could see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Seine River.

For lunch, we went to a small café and ate croissants, baguettes, and cheese. The food is so delicious in Paris! Everywhere we go, there are bakeries and coffee shops.

After lunch, we went to the Louvre Museum. It is so big that we didn't have time to see everything. We saw the famous painting of Mona Lisa. It is so small that we had to squeeze through a crowd of people to see it. But it was worth it! It is so famous, and it was amazing to see it in person.

I can't wait to see what other adventures we will have in Paris. Tomorrow, we are going to the Palace of Versailles. I hope it will be as amazing as everything else we've seen so far.

Different Kinds of Local Foods to Try in Paris

Paris is a great place to try new foods! There are so many bakeries and cafes to choose from. I tried a lot of different foods on my trip.

First, I tried croissants. They are a type of bread that is flaky and buttery. They are so yummy! I ate them for breakfast and sometimes for a snack.

Another food I tried was a baguette. It is a long loaf of bread that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I ate it with cheese and sometimes ham. It was so filling!

I also tried macarons. They are small cookies that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They come in many different colors and flavors. I liked the chocolate and raspberry flavors the most.

One day, we went to a restaurant and I tried escargot. It is a type of snail that is cooked with garlic butter. It was a little bit chewy, but it tasted good!

We also tried crepes. They are thin pancakes that you can put different fillings in. We had them with Nutella and bananas. They were so sweet and tasty.

Another food we had was French onion soup. It is a soup made with onions and beef broth. The top is covered with a layer of melted cheese. It was warm and comforting on a cold day.

Dreaming of Rome

After visiting Paris, I dream of going to Rome. I have always been fascinated by the history of the Roman Empire, and I want to see the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Roman Forum. I also want to try authentic Italian pizza and gelato.

I want to walk on the same streets as Julius Caesar and explore the Vatican City. I want to see the Sistine Chapel and the works of Michelangelo. I want to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain and make a wish.

I have heard that Rome is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. I want to learn about its rich culture and history. I hope that one day, my dream of visiting Rome will come true, and I can experience the beauty of this ancient city for myself.
